Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
12 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Preferred 24 months of Cardiac Intensive Care Unit experience.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license

  • Critical care and experience with PA catheters
  • Will take 1.5 years exp IF from a level 1 trauma center, large hospital
  • IV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pulmonary edema, Respiratory failure, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Genitourinary/Renal, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Neurological, Cardiovascular, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), Professional Topics and Skills, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Additional Skills, Swan Ganz/ PA cath

Preferred Skills/Experience: Chronic/Acute Renal failure, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Impella, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Valve Replacement/Repair

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: $125/month
