Required Skills/Experience:

• Years of experience REQ: 3 years of CARDIAC ICU exp -First-timers accepted: Yes, with Cardio thoracic ICU experience and/or critical care experience
• Must have experience and be proficient with swan-ganz monitoring. This is a high acuity cardiac ICU which requires knowledgeable
• Previous Charge Experience
• We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend req: Every other
• Is on-call req: No

• Patient Age Groups: Adults

Orientation Hours: 24

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

• Patient Diagnoses: S/p cabg; valve repairs/replacements, Aneurysm repairs, Heart/kydney trnsplant, Vad implantation
• Special Procedures: Ecmo cannulation, Bronchoscopy

Equipment Used on Unit:

• MO;IABP;Impella;Centrimag;vad

Previous Employment Requirements:

• Return Staff Policy (must be gone 2 yrs to return as traveler)

Required Credentials:

• Cert: NIH - Acceptable Providers: APEX, AHA, AACME, Blue Cloud
