Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Additional Details:

Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing required.
  • De-escalation experience, experience with physical restraints (chemical restraints are NOT used), medication passes.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric BH exp preferred.

Required Credentials:

  • Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date.
  • MOAB is obtained on site (part of orientation).

Unit and facility details:

  • Ratios: with resource support (including Nursing support).
  • Traveler may have the opportunity to act as Charge, but this is not required.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Weekend rotation: every other, Saturday/Sunday.
  • Holiday Expectations: expected to work holidays in rotation.

Floating Requirements: Between all units – Adults and Peds.
