Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.
BSN completion preferred
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Ventilator Management, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Starting and maintaining IVs, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), ECMO, Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Valve Replacement/Repair, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), CVA/Acute Stroke management, Lumbar drains, CVVHD/CRRT, IV insulin protocols.

Required Credentials: Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 or 4x12 D/N rotating 0700-1930 & 1900-0730. Open to 3x12 or 4x12 contract. Every other weekend required. Holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: Float to ICU and IMC required.
