Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 6 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years RRT experience in the Pediatric Critical Care arena (PICU/NICU/CCU) required. MUST have recent acute care Pediatric RRT experience (PICU/NICU) with in the current year.

Required Credentials: 1 manager reference from within the last 6 months OR 2 charge nurse references from within the last 6 months (One reference must be from most recent employment). NRP (for NICU assignments).

Shift & Scheduling: May ask for 1 of the 3 major holidays off. Will work every other weekend

Unit/Facility details: Level 1 Pediatric Trauma facility. **Will consider first time travelers if they are very strong and meet the other requirements. Ratio: Based on points system.

Floating Requirements: RRTs must be able to work 2 of the 4 areas at Lurie. The four areas are NICU, CCU, PICU, and acute care floors.
