Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

BSN completion preferred

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Leadership and Charge Nurse experience

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Prepare patients for Endoscopy, IR, and OR.

Equipment Used on Unit: Medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), VC150’s in every patient room. Work station on wheels for every staff member. Tap and Go for computer/documentation access.

Unit/Facility Details: 36 beds

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling.

Shift & Scheduling: Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shift on night shift.

Floating Requirements: Med-Surge: 3W, 5W, K8 (sister units)
