Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Acute Care Float Pool experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Hawaii license

Guaranteed Hours: No Guarantee

Shift: 0645 to 1915 - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation.

Floating to other units/departments: Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights, Laulima 1:6, Cardiovascular 1:4 - Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves

Preferred: Procedural Sedation

Dress Code: Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs
