Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 9 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years + Hemodynamic monitoring- swans, art lines; Ventilator management; Strong critical thinking skills. Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Preferred Skills/Experience: IABP and CRRT exposure

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Post CABG; Post VAD; Post Cath with various cardiac support devices- IABP, Impella, ecmo

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend: Rotating

Floating Requirements: All travelers are required to float
