Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: At least 1 full year of PICU experience post orientation period. Must be Vent trained.

Required Credentials: TNCC or PCAR

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: As required by facility. Call Requirements: No call requirements unless sent home during shift due to low census we ask our coworkers to be available to the end of their regular scheduled shift for possible admits.

Floating Requirements: Nurses will be expected to work in either the NICU, PICU, Pediatric medical floor or Peds ED as determined by patient volumes.
