Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license

Additional Details:

STICU (Surgical Trauma ICU)

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Candidates need to have a strong surgical background, preferably with experience in trauma, post-trauma patients, burns, orthopedics, cardiovascular surgical patients, neurosurgical patients, and other complex surgical cases secondary from traumas or oncological issues.

Experience with CRRT, dialysis, Open Heart recovery is highly desirable.

Medical ICU patients can be placed in this unit if no other ICU beds are available.
