Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
10 months of Outpatient Clinic experience is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

On-Call: Yes

IV Conscious Sedation experience preferred.

Inpatient and outpatient EGD’s and Colonoscopies and some pulmonary cases (Bronchoscopies) but these are very low volume.

Cases are done with nurse sedation and some with anesthesia.

Previous sedation experience would be preferred.

Nurses rotate usually in the pre/post op area and procedure rooms.

Patient Types: Delivers care to patients undergoing Digestive Health procedures

Provides high quality care and services to the following patient populations:

Gastroenterology: Cardiac

Pulmonary: Pain Management

Neurology - Lumbar Puncture.

Variable shifts either 0600 - 1430 or 0700 - 1530.

Call required are typically one day a week and every 5th weekend on call with a 30-minute response time.
