Requirements

Experience

60 months of role experience is preferred with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alaska license

Additional Details:

Transportation is not provided and walking is not recommended in winter. You will need to secure a vehicle for transportation!

Required Skills/Experience: 3+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience in a hospital setting. Must have recent experience with postpartum, couplet care, and circulating for C-Sections.

Types of Patients on Unit: RNs work in labor, post-partum, couplet care, and triage

Unit/Facility Details: 17 bed LDRP . 1 Bedroom housing at Wedgewood Manor is provided. No pets are allowed.

Special Requests: Up to 14 days of time off may be requested, including max of 4 weekend shifts. All RTO must be requested at time of submittal

Shift & Scheduling: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. On call is 3 shifts in 6-week period. Holiday requirements is Per unit's needs

Floating Requirements: to all departments when necessary
