Requirements

Experience

9 months of acute care experience.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 9 months of Dialysis Unit experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Dialysis Resource Pool - Required

Required Skills / Experience: Must have acute dialysis experience

Shift & Scheduling: Monday to Saturday. Up to two Saturdays per 4 week schedule. Up to 7 call shifts scheduled in one week out of every 4 week schedule (M-Sa 1800-0600, Sunday 0600 x24hrs)

Floating Requirements: Must float to different facilities within NTX. If not comfortable with floating, traveler can be assigned to one facility. Will narrow down to 2-3 hospitals and we will need them to help with on call at those hospitals (in rotation with the other staff, of course). They will be assigned to one hospital as their primary facility and only move to others if volumes drop or we need coverage for a call-in/vacation.
