Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required from last 4 years.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekends as needed

First to float

Float to ‘like’ units which are within their scope at the Boise, Meridian, and Nampa St. Luke’s campuses

Requires BMT or Chemo experience

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: BMT, oncology, GYN ONC surgeries, hospice, med/surg

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prefer Chemo/oncolgy and/or BMT experience. Okay with 1 year of experience in Oncology. For general MS nurses must have 2 years of experience

Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: Any color; No hoods.

Would need chemo certifications to administer chemo.

Will accept MS travelers without onc/chemo experience, but must have 2 years of experience.

They do take some higher acuity patients than general MS units. Unit prides themselves on teamwork.
