Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Soarian is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Competencies with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring the ICU. High acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Competencies include efficient with vents, a -lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring, temporary pacemakers, vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations /

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via candidates email. Please ensure an up to date email is provided at time of submission / Must have: 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience.
