Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Trauma Level 3 experience is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend required • Call Requirements: None

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀: We are looking for experienced surgical nurses who also have experience with telemetry. This is a 37 bed unit with a high churn to accommodate our surgical population. Bariatric experience is preferred; We have an Ultrasound IV Team who work 7am to 10pm, We do not have issues usually find a nurse to help with IVs as needed.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: BLS or BCLS

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀/𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀/𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁: Medical management of diagnoses such as DM and PNA, trauma, general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, urology
