Required Skills/Experience: EVD experience
Must have strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience.
2 years ICU experience required in large (450+)
Required Credentials: Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts.
-Pass fail exam on day 1 of orientation
-All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion. ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change. This is for travelers going to St. Joseph main campus &/or St. Joseph Westgate campus.
Special Requests: Travel Teams must have their own vehicles
Shift & Scheduling: May be placed on Standby for a scheduled shift.
-Weekend Requirement: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 week schedule.
-Holidays: Work into rotation
Floating Requirements: Float to other ICUs and all Tele units, patient ratio of 1/4 on tele.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
