Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.

If candidate resides in one of the restricted counties, they are not eligible for assignment. Restricted Counties-Delta, Franklin, Red River, Hopkins, Bowie, Morris, Titus, Cass, Camp, Rains, Upshur, Marion, Van Zandt, Smith, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, and Panola.

Required Skills/Experience: -Required Skills: IV therapy (Arterial lines, Blood products, Central/PICC management, IV starts), Respiratory (Ventilator management, Care of ventilated patient, ABG interpretation, Suctioning, HFNC), Renal failure management, Medications (Continuous sedation, Titrating Cardiac/Vasoactive drips), Cardiovascular (Swan-Ganz monitoring, TAVR, Valve repair), GI Surgery recovery, Infection Prevention, Multisystem Organ Failure management, IV insulin protocols, Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).

Preferred Skills/Experience: -Preferred Skills: Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU), Accessing Ports, Chemotherapy, Procedural Sedation, Stroke (CVA) management, EVD/ICP monitoring, Post-Neurosurgery, Spinal/TBI care, ECMO, IABP, Post-Cardiac Surgery (Direct/Indirect from OR), Sheath Removal.

Floating Requirements: -Float: Yes, to units of equal or lesser acuity

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
