Skills: Acute Inpatient Rehab, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Administration of blood and blood products, Port care/management, Central line/PICC care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Blood glucose monitoring, Insulin protocols, Anticoagulation therapy, Antiseizure medications, and Diuretics. You are proficient in Fall Risk Assessment, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, National Patient Safety Goals, Pain management, Patient Teaching, Pressure Ulcer prevention, Specialty beds, Wound care, and Respiratory support including Incentive Spirometry, Pulse Oximetry, and Supplemental oxygen
Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge experience, Teaching Hospital Experience
Skills: Acute Rehab Hospital experience, Management of cardiac arrest, Feeding devices/adaptive equipment, Tube management (NG tube insertion, PEG feeding), Swallowing precautions/thickened liquids, Chronic renal failure/dialysis support, Foley catheter removal, and Venous blood draws. You also specialize in high-acuity Neurological care (CVA/Stroke scale, Neuromuscular disease, Parkinson’s, Post-Craniotomy, Seizure disorders, SCI, and TBI) and Orthopedics (Assistive Devices, Mobilization Techniques, Prosthesis application, Pulse/CMS checks, Suture/Staple removal, and Total joint replacement recovery). Your respiratory expertise includes COVID-19 care, Tracheostomy care, and Suctioning (Oral/Nasotracheal).
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend (Sat and Sun) and holiday. No call required
