Travel Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Due to need to float to ICU or Stepdown, ICU skill set is required, BiPap, Cpap, Mechanical Ventilation, telemetry, critical drips, post cardiac Cath care required. 1-2 years cricial care experience.
• RNs required to titrate drips: Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone, Lose dose Dopamine

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• CRRT and IABP preferred.
• Preferred experience: Arterial Line experience, Post Fem Pop, Post Endarterectomy, ECAR, TVAR.

Required Credentials: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to. If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Unit and facility details: Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends and holidays.

Floating Requirements: Travel staff are required to float to Med-Surg Telemetry if not needed in ICU or Stepdown. Also required to float to the Emergency Department to care for boarded PCU or ICU patients.
