Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Weekend Requirement: No regular weekend. 1 weekend call per month.

Holidays: Rotate in with core staff

Call: Varies 24/7/365 nights and weekends

Floating: Rare for OR RN to float to another facility.

Suites: 1 CVOR suite. 9 Main OR suites

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Nurse must have experience CVOR, Main OR which may include Vascular, Neuro, Robotic, Ortho, Trauma and general surgery

Looking for someone that has main OR experience as well as CV as they would float to main OR if there are no CV cases.

CVOR needs for scrubbing and circulating.

Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.

Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
