Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps

• Medication gtt management to include: Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF

Required Credentials: ASN/BSN

Unit/Facility Details:

• Will you accept a first-time traveler: Not preferred, will consider.

• Parking: Free Employee Parking Deck

Shift & Scheduling:

• 36 or 48 hours are available.

• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

• On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

• Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Floating Requirements: Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – decline if not agreeable.

Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises.
