Required Skills/Experience:

• CVIMCU requires Cardio experience recently

• IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Cardiac Telemetry, Telemetry, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Surgical drains

Preferred Skills/Experience: Central line care/management, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Tracheostomy care/management, PCA, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Post Cardiac Angiogram

Required Credentials: Must pass an on-site Pass/Fail EKG exam on the first try.

Special Requests: No RTO week of Christmas (12/21-12/27)

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required

Floating Requirements: All RNs are expected to float to their capacities in their hospitals, IMCU can float to M/S, ICU can float to IMCU, M/S can float M/S units. Be prepared to float based on census and acuity. Some IMCU may float to ER Hold.
