Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

36 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

ADN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Shift Information:

Shift: Day / Night Variable - must be flexible to work both shifts

Shift time: 0530-1800 (days) & 1730-0600 (nocs)

Every Other Weekend

Holiday: Rotation

On-Call / Call Back Requirement: None

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Float Requirements: Throughout facility within skillset, To all ThedaCare Facilities within a 60 mile radius

Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence.

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.

Experience in stroke and post-op back/spine/cervical - Preferred

Patient Types: Stroke, post op spinal surgeries/brain surgeries - Neurology patients

Many of our patients are post trauma patients and TBI. We do have medical patients at times as well.
