Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

TNCC (Preferred)

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Administration of blood & blood products, Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications/Emergency Medications, Antiarrhythmics, IV vasopressors, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Respiratory, Assist/manage intubation, BiPAP/CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care, Ventilator Management, Infection control/PPE, Gastrointestinal, Insulin administration, IV Insulin Pumps, Cardiovascular, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Photo ID card.

Special Requests: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission – no exceptions.

Shift & Scheduling: Must work 50% of holidays during contract.
