Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 12 months.

24 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 12 months

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.

Required Credentials:

Moderate conscious sedation competency testing.
Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through UNA, only (with 2 MAX attempts).
PASS/FAIL Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months.

Shift & Scheduling:

Varying start times: 3p, 5p, 7p.
Minimum 4 weekend shifts per sched; must work 2 of 3 major holidays.

Floating Requirements: Float between Gilbert and Chandler ER (7 miles/15 minutes apart), possibly mid-shifts - first to float.
