Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:

Block Schedules: No

Must have 1 year of level IV NICU experience, 2 years total level III/IV NICU exp required

Float Requirement: Will float to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, and MS as needed.

Must be willing to comply with facility float expectations.

Will be given an appropriate assignment in these areas.

Will float to BPD (bronchopulmonary dysplasia) NICU.

Average length of stay is 2-3 years.

Must be comfortable with frequent trach care and heavy parent involvement.

Float to other specialties and campuses.

CVPICU, PICU, MS and ED (float to ED is extremely rare) In addition, float to other campuses, primarily Riverside and St. Ann's.

Weekend Requirement: At most, every other weekend

Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests

Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics

Cannot have worked perm for Nationwide for at least 2 years

Floating is a requirement for most positions and a point of emphasis for Nationwide, travelers must be prepared to float to different units depending on the assignment
