Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: IV therapy Arterial line management Blood Product Administration Central line care/management PICC line management Starting and maintaining IVs Respiratory/Thoracic Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal Assist with management of BiPAP Assist with management of CPAP Care of Ventilated Patient Genitourinary/Renal Chronic/Acute Renal failure CVVHD/CRRT Medications Continuous IV sedation Procedural Sedation Administration Titrate Cardiac drips Titrate Vasoactive drips Neurological CVA/Acute Stroke management Cardiovascular Impella Sheath Removal Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Endocrine/Metabolic IV insulin protocols Work Settings Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Required Credentials: Proof of ID: Drivers License/State ID. Cert: ACLS, BLS - AHA, ARC, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: CVICU consists of a mix of cardiac surgical and cardiac medical patients, with occasional adult medical ICU overflow.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics.

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 24. RTO must be listed at time of submittal.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Could float to MSICU, Neuro ICU, Burn ICU if needed.
