Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Candidates must have either cpi or hwc to be considered

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Weekend Hours: every other weekend

• Float Requirements: with in units of Behav Health Dpt

• Patient Ratios: 1:10; 1:13; 1:15; 2:20; 2:23

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Adult +18

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Acute inpatient BH

• Required Education: ADN

• Scrub Color: Any

• Any unacceptable attire: denim; camo
