Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Every Other Weekend
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Hours: Have to work every other weekend. Days Saturday/Sunday is and nights is Friday/Saturday
Call Requirements: None
Required Certifications: AWOHN intermediate or advance
Patient Ratios: Varies on patient acuity
Equipment: IV Pumps, Epidural Pumps, Fetal Monitoring equipment, fetal doppler, syringe pump
Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Labor, Post-Partum, Neonates
Must Have Skills/Experience: Labor experiences, postpartum, well baby, stabilization of critical newborn for transfers.
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Term, late preterm indications- Gest HTN, Gest diabetes
