Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36

Float Requirements: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including ED, and general care areas.

On Call/Call-Back: call on weekends

Weekend/Holiday: every other weekend, E/O holiday

Needs to be comfortable with being the only RT on NOCS

Required Education: Associates Degree

Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and CodeBlue. Basic Respiratory Care, Critical Care, Ventilator Management, Patient assessment with Assess and Treat Protocols, care for all age groups, ABG draws, EKGs, holter/event monitoring

Dress Code: closed toed shoes; scrubs (any color); clean; no smoking or scent allowed
