Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 10 months of Rehabilitation Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: Rehab or Med-Surg experience

Shift & Scheduling: Preference to OT with acute or IP rehab experience, but willing to train. Preference to OT that is available to work 2-3 weekend days per 6 week schedule.

Types of Patients on Unit:

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Patient Diagnoses: CVA, Parkinson's Disease, amputations, debility, hip fractures, motor vehicle accidents, brain tumors, subdural hematomas, critical illness myopathy, orthopedic surgeries, dialysis patients, multiple trauma

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submittal

Required Credentials: Proof of ID: Drivers License/State ID Cert: BLS - AHA, ARC, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute.
