Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

IV Therapy Certification (Required)

Proof of Identification

Driver's license required

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Preferred:

Acute Care Experience or Skilled Nursing facility

Wound Care Management

Floating: Surgical unit, Stroke unit, typically care for the med-surg overflow patients in these units

Dress Code: Scrubs - Royal Blue

Weekends and On-Call: If you call in on a weekend, you will automatically be placed onto the following weekend for replacement of day called in.

Must have at least 9 months of experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.
