Experience

36 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

36 months of Emergency Department experience is required from last 3 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits

Guaranteed Hours 36

Will allow every weekend block scheduling if preferred.

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend.

Holiday Requirements: Rotation with core staff- will fill in where needed.

Floating Requirements: Can float to any area to be an extra helping hands.

Beds/Trauma Bays: 13 beds, 1 trauma bay.

Nurse: Patient Ratios: vary with acuity.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Everything- only standing hospital within 2 hour drive. Stabilize and ship out critical patients. Peds are around 1/4 of pts seen.

Travelers will triage if needed.

Common drips: Cardiac drips, Dopamine, Levophed, nitroglycerine, propofol, insulin.

Scrub Color/Dress Code: No color requirements as long as clean and professional.
