Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Michigan license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: With potential to extend;

Unit Details: Unit is a Med Surg unit that sees a lot of respiratory conditions and some substance/alcohol abuse withdraw. They also see general Med Surg patients, but the large portion will be respiratory conditions. This unit is also the go to for patients needing infectious isolation for respiratory conditions at this location.

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates will be required to interpret printed rhythm strips.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating schedule, every other weekend required.
