References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

RTO: We can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend

On call Required: No

Block Schedules: No

Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests

Orientation Hours: 24

Float Requirement: Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge, Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital, LTAC Experience

Special Requirements:

Required Chemotherapy Skills/Experience: Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal cytotoxic spills, Monitor chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values.

Required IV Therapy/Infusion Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Administration of coagulation factors, Antifungals, Antivirals, Blood/Blood product administration, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting IVs.

Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics

Common Diagnoses: Mixed general floor with oncology and hospice being the primary specialty.

List of procedures in the unit: Chemotherapy administration

Previous Employment Requirements:

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer

Any perm or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler.
