Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alaska license

ACLS (Required)

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Required)

NRP (Required)

Additional Details:

Recovery, Postpartum

Patient Ratios – 1:3 variable by census and acuity.

On Call Requirements: 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule.

Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends, but variable depending on staffing.

Must have OR circulator experience.

Must have Labor and delivery experience.

Preferred or nice to have:

Perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE.

Be stork nurse and transition baby at delivery.

AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification

Floating Area(s): If needed would float to Mom-Baby unit.

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Hospital provided royal blue scrubs (would change in the facility).

Weekends and On call. Any additional information

Level II NICU with onsite pediatric hospitalists

Must have at least 9 months of experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.
