Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Speech-Language Pathology experience within the past 3 years.

MS completion required

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Speech Therapist (Outpatient) – Pediatric - Required

Required Skills/Experience: Solid competency in pediatric outpatient care

Must have both pediatrics and outpatient experience

Experience in: Peds speech disorders, expressive/receptive language delays, apraxia, stuttering & AAC devices

Experience in: social communication disorders & autism spectrum disorders

Minimum of 1 year or experience with pediatric neurologically impaired patient population

This position requires strong experience in evaluation and treatment of pediatric speech disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, apraxia, stuttering, augmentative and alternative communication devices, social communication disorders, and autism spectrum disorders

Required Credentials: Master's Degree in Speech Pathology

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Diagnoses and treats speech and language problems and engages in scientific study of human communication

Evaluates speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors
