Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 36 months of Operating Room experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System

Preferred Skills/Experience: Preop and PACU experience, Scrubbing

Unit/Facility Details: Can be difficult to find housing - no onsite housing is available but there are plenty of RV sites. Closest place with lots of housing is Boise.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 17-20 Call shifts in an 8-week staff scheduling period. This will include 12-hour weeknight shifts and 24-hour weekend shifts.Call response time is 30 minutes.

• Arrival 0700 everyday. Assignments will be sent out the week prior. Everyone stays until patients are out of PACU. Shift ends at 1930 but if there are not cases the team is able to leave at 1630 and is expected to remain available to be called back in to fulfill their shift if needed.

Floating Requirements: Preop and PACU, may be asked to task in other departments if there are no surgeries.
