Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years - Traveler must have high risk (level 3) OB experience.

• Multi-facility L&D experience or travel experience.

• Antihypertensives, Insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Assist with high risk delivery, Circulate for C-section, Recover C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam, Facility births/month 200-300, High Risk Antepartum, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC), Triage of obstetrical patients, Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Heparin drips.

Required Credentials: NIHSS: BlueCloud/AAMCE accepted.

Preferred Credentials: AWHONN Advanced

Unit/Facility Details: Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests: No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend / two weekends per month.

• You must start on the start date specified for this job.

Floating Requirements:

• Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift. If your clinician refuses to float, they will be subject to cancelation. There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. If they are floated outside of their primary competency, the team-based model will be used.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
