Unit Procedures: Shockwave, Angiovac, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, Y90 treatments, trans jugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunts, direct intrahepatic portosystemic shunt, balloon occluded retrograde transvenous obliterations, Spaceoar, trans jugular liver biopsy, Adreno samplings, carotid and vertebral stents, vasospasms, drain placements, onyx embolization

1 year of ED or ICU experience

Weekend REQ: Weekend call

On-call REQ: Call is assigned average 8-10 days per month which includes a weekend.

RTO Restrictions: RTO must be submitted with application. Any RTO requested after signing at manager discretion

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed.

Scrubs: Provided

Orientation Hours: 40

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Daily Census: 20

Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, Intracranial bleeds, Peripheral artery disease, AVM (AV Malformation), GI Bleed (upper or lower), Gastric varices (TIPS and DIPS), Fistula's, Cancer, thyroid -adrenal nodule to rule out cancer

• Direct intrahepatic portosystemic shunts (DIPS)
• BRTO (Balloon Occluded retrograde transvenous obliterations)
• Spaceoar- placement of gel spacer for prostate cancer
• Adreno samplings
• Trans jugular liver biopsy (TJLB)
• CT scanner- biopsies, prostate artery studies (nitro)
• Carotid and vertebral stents
• AVM
• Stroke
• Subarachnoid hemorrhages
• Vasospasms
• Drain placements
• Onyx embolization (MMA)

Skills required: Circulate
