Patient Types: Highly Progressive/Acute Respiratory Care - Adult Critical Care, Pediatric Critical Care, Neonatal Critical Care, and general inpatient respiratory care; Must be prepared to care for NICU patients if the requisition calls for that – NRP cert required; Busy, fast-paced department
Required Education: AA Degree
Skills required: Critical Care, General respiratory care experience
Floating: If yes, where? RT Coverage throughout hospital and ED; Will not float to other facilities, unless hired for that specifically
Orientation: (facility and unit) Rapid City Hospital, Respiratory Care Department
Scheduling: Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Dependent on facility/job requisition
Weekend rotation: Every other
Holiday Expectations: Work on holidays that fall within contract dates
