Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nevada license

Additional Details:

Call Requirements: Call is not required

Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred.

Must have experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management.

IMCU travelers are required to pass a ECG/Telemetry competency exam, which includes reading/interpreting rhythm strips.

May be required to work major holidays and is required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period. Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
