24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Additional Details:

Call is one 1st call per week (end of shift until 11:00 pm), maybe one 2nd call per week (end of shift until 7:00 pm). Weekend call is every 5-6 weekends and is from 3:00 pm (or end of shift) on Friday to 0615 on Monday morning. On the week following weekend call, there is overnight call on Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday night (11:00 pm – 6:15 am). Transplant call is 2-3 12 hour calls per 4 weeks (12 hours overnight or 12 hours on the weekends). This call is only utilized in the case of a heart transplant.

Required Education: Completion of a Surgical Technologist Education Program OR Three (3) years of Surgical Technologist experience within the past five (5) years.

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA OR Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) through NCCT
