Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 36 months of Emergency Department experience.

BSN completion required

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Comfortable and proficient with caring for critically ill patients, behavioral health patients, and/or hold patients

Required Credentials:

• Critical Care Course within 1 year (or 2 years CC experience or current CEN)

• Certifications that expire within 30 days of application and pending licensure will not be accepted.

• Completion of the Trauma Nurse Core Courses taught by the Emergency Nurses Association within 12 months of initial assignment or followed by a minimum of 8 contact hours of education every two (2) years in trauma assessment, intervention, and stabilization. s

Shift & Scheduling:

Must be available to work weekends

• Weekend Requirement: Every other (Sat/Sun)

• Holiday: Typically Mullica Hill does not schedule contractors on Holidays in the ED but can change due to census

Floating Requirements: Within specialty, possibly to ED hold
