Additional Details:
BJC policy: Every other weekend required.
RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
No medical marijuana cards accepted.
Scrub experience for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular and circulate required
No call, no weekends, possible holiday coverage.
Will consider 1 year experience if from Level 1 trauma Facility
First-timers accepted only if more than 2 years experience in a Level 1 Trauma Facility
Open to accommodating block schedule: No
Scrub Navy required
Circulate required
Procedures: Cardiac and Thoracic cases primarily, Vascular (Open and Endovascular Procedures), Transplant (Liver, Kidney, Pancreas), Whipples (Pancreatic Procedures)
RTO must be on the submittal
No RTO the first week of an assignment.
Return Staff Policy:
- Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.
- All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75-mile radius) can stay for an 18-month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.
