Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

6 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Triage.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), ICP monitoring, Neuro-Trauma, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, STEMI Certified Facility, Stroke Certified Facility, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Spinal cord injury, Ventilated patients

Required Credentials: Copy of Passport, driver's license or government issued ID

Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend

Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests

Floating Requirements: Will be expected to float to a free-standing 14-bed ER as needed. Same resources, same requirements. Will not float mid-shift. ER is 8 miles, a 5–10-minute drive away.
