Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Start date: 8/25

Weekend Requirement: every other weekend required

Float Requirement: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity; this position will float to NICU and PEDS Transplant as needed

2 years of experience with vents, CPAP and/or BIPAP as well as Central Line Care

Will accept a first time traveler with 2 years of PICU experience; 1 year of experience required for seasoned travelers

IV Start Certification preferred

Previous Charge Experience: Preferred

Years of Experience: 2 year(s); Note: HARD STOP At least 2 yrs specialty exp required

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Patient Diagnoses: Liver, small bowel, multivisceral transplantation Gastroschisis Biliary atresia DKA Craniofacial abnormalities Spinal fusion Hematology/oncologic diagnoses Status epilepticus Status asthmaticus Intractable seizures Tracheomalacia Septic shock ARDS Renal failure
