Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

VCU has a natural nail policy.

No time off requests during the first week of the contract.

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Previous Charge Experience: Required

Prefer some EP experience but can consider if none available.

Will be required to circulate. Options to monitor and scrub depending on skill set.

Need experience with GE Mac Lab, prefer Claris experience for EP but again, will consider if none available.

Low-volume unit(140 cases per year)

Tue-Fri schedule

Call requirements varies - will start with 2 shifts per week to start with gradual increase over time depending on lab needs.

Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: Varies depending on case volume

Orientation Hours: 40

Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics

Patient Diagnoses: Congenital heart disease of all ages

RTO should be included at the time of submission

Facility will review all background hits, etc.

Return Staff Policy: 6 month gap to be considered as a traveler.

Proof of ID: Government issued photo ID required. Photo Identification must be carried on person during hours of service to client.
