Required Skills/Experience:
• Five (5) years of nursing experience within Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Two (2) years of experience in nursing supervision or experience as a charge nurse.
Skills: NICU III experience caring for neonates 29–34 weeks and >34 weeks, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, Infant feeding protocols (bottle, breast, and gavage), G-Tube Feeding, and Isolation Precautions/PPE. You are proficient in IV therapy including arterial line management, central line/implanted line care, and IV drip management. Your neurological and respiratory expertise includes the management of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) and advanced ventilator support (AC, PC, SIMV, CPAP, BIPAP, and PEEP).
Preferred Skills/Experience: Attending High-Risk Deliveries.
Required Credentials: Master’s Degree in Nursing
Special Requests: Labs must be completed within 48 hours of accepting an offer.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend
Floating Requirements: Cook is a mandatory float facility, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.
Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift.
There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
